Leadership Opportunity in Construction Services

Michael Baker International is seeking a seasoned Construction Services Manager to lead our Transportation Construction Practice in Arkansas and surrounding states. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving business growth, developing and executing strategic plans, and fostering strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute business plans to drive growth and profitability in the Transportation Construction Practice
  • Lead production teams to deliver successful projects and meet client expectations
  • Negotiate contracts and manage financial performance of the business
  • Oversee marketing and business development efforts to identify new opportunities and expand existing relationships
  • Maintain and develop relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members
  • Manage field supervisors and inspection teams to ensure high-quality project delivery
  • Coordinate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to resolve construction issues and ensure project success

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Arkansas
  • 10+ years of construction engineering management and inspection experience for transportation projects
  • ARDOT minimum experience with roadway and bridge construction specifications, policies, and general procedures
  • Demonstrate leadership skills and communication skills requiring client interaction
  • Computer skills to include Microsoft Office, Microstation/MS Project/Primavera

Compensation:

The approximate compensation range for this position is $94,141 to $155,060. This compensation range is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation is dependent upon factors such as education, qualifications, experience, skillset, and physical work location.
