About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Project Manager I to join our team at HNTB North Texas. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for managing and delivering transportation projects for multiple clients in the North Texas office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage project scope and fee quotations, and assist in the preparation of technical proposals and contracts in accordance with HNTB's Sophisticated Contracting Approach (SCA).
  • Serve as the primary client liaison and manage the project team to deliver the scope, schedule, and budgets to completion and to the client's satisfaction.
  • Perform technical discipline tasks, including analysis, reports, design, specification, and production for assigned projects.
  • Implement the firm's project delivery plan using HNTB's Sophisticated Delivery Approach (SDA) on each project.
  • Lead the development and execution of the project management plan, and supervise and mentor team members to achieve overall project objectives.
  • Coordinate with managers on project staffing, including recruitment, development, retention, and succession of project staff.
  • Partner with Client Service Leaders and pursuit champions to assist with business development, building client relationships, and pursuit efforts for strategic and mini-mega projects.
Requirements
  • 2 years of task management or Deputy PM experience.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) certification.
