Job Summary:

As a seasoned Project Manager at Kaufman Lynn Construction, you will be responsible for driving project success by effectively managing client relationships, achieving financial and administrative goals, and adhering to company policies and contractual obligations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage project schedules, including weekly updates and progress reports.
  • Prepare and submit pay applications, project close-out documents, and other necessary paperwork.
  • Conduct regular meetings with owners and subcontractors to ensure project progress and address any concerns.
  • Monitor field operations, prepare subcontractor scopes, negotiate contracts, and manage change orders.
  • Oversee safety and quality efforts, utilizing resources as needed to ensure project compliance.
  • Provide project financial reports, including updated cost projections and budget analysis.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to foster repeat business and growth opportunities.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 7 years of experience in construction project management, with a strong background in multifamily, commercial, and municipal projects.
  • Familiarity with Procore and other construction management software is a plus.
  • Excellent financial analysis, contract drafting, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage teams, resolve conflicts, and anticipate potential cost or schedule issues.
  • Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Expedition, Suretrack, and P6 (or equivalent).
