Job Summary

As a seasoned Project Manager at Kaufman Lynn Construction, you will be responsible for driving project success by effectively managing client relationships, achieving financial and administrative goals, and adhering to company policies and procedures. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the successful delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage project schedules, including weekly updates and pay applications.
  • Prepare and negotiate contracts, as well as manage change orders.
  • Oversee safety and quality efforts, utilizing resources effectively.
  • Provide project financial reports, including cost projections.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to secure repeat business.
  • Review project proposals and plans to determine project scope, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Establish project work plans, budgets, and staffing, and ensure project personnel are assigned accordingly.
  • Identify and address scope changes or differing conditions, securing appropriate change orders.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 7 years of experience in construction project management, preferably in multifamily, commercial, and/or municipal projects.
  • Familiarity with Procore is a plus.
  • Strong financial analysis and contract drafting skills.
  • Ability to manage teams, resolve disputes, and anticipate potential cost or schedule issues.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Expedition, Suretrack, and P6 (or equivalent).
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
