We have quickly grown from our original location in Sunnyvale to several Bay Area locations, including Levi's Stadium and the San Francisco International Airport as well as Los Angeles. As we continue to expand, we are looking for hospitable and enthusiastic people to join our movement.

What You'll Do
  • You will lead the team of managers to achieve company goals and uphold Starbird standards at the store level and in the community.
  • You will focus on business growth and health, ensuring new units open on time and within budget.
  • You will be hands-on with the management and restaurant team, leading by example.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Visit locations throughout the week and perform weekly audits on each location.
  2. Follow up from audits to ensure progress is being made.
  3. Continually investigate and introduce process improvement measures and present suggestions for consideration.
  4. Create and enforce customer service standards.
  5. Assist with new store openings and the planning of those openings.
  6. Generate a restaurant atmosphere of positivity and accountability.
  7. Evaluate and develop unit-level management teams and establish standards for personnel planning.
  8. Evaluate labor productivity and work with General Managers (GMs) to optimize schedules.
  9. Oversee and work with GMs to manage labor and schedules so they are in line with budget.
  10. Ensure forecasts are accurate and inputted on time into Ctuit.
  11. Assist in developing and maintaining Information Technology systems to ensure all operational systems are continuously evaluated for proper operation, relevance, and utilization.
  12. Analyze and act upon P&Ls and other financial reports, reviewing with GMs and working on opportunities and praising wins.
  13. Communicate in a thoughtful and timely manner with GMs and Assistant General Managers via text, email, phone, and/or Slack.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A working knowledge of business processes and systems development.
  • Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels within the restaurant.
  • A naturally hospitable personality.
  • The ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, lift, grasp, and exert well-paced mobility for periods of up to 5 hours in length.
  • The ability to lift and carry supplies and equipment up to 50 lbs.
  • The ability to tolerate extreme temperature changes in kitchen and freezer areas.

Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
