The estimated annual salary for this position ranges from $98,218 to $174,637, influenced by factors such as skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education.

Job Description

This is a unique opportunity to support both Multicare Home Health and the Multicare PACE program. As a float RN, you'll cover Pierce County and S. King Co., with variable department time allocation based on PACE needs. You'll be responsible for regulatory supervision of home health LPNs every 2 weeks for PACE patients, requiring previous home health or PACE experience.

  • You will organize patient care by prioritizing, delegating, delivering, and evaluating on an ongoing basis.
  • You will utilize your knowledge base to deliver nursing care using the nursing process according to policies, procedures, and protocols.
  • Collaborate with the nursing team to facilitate overall improvement in quality of care, patient experience, and cost reduction.
  • Foster a learning environment for patients/families, nursing staff, and members of the healthcare team.
  • Advocate for ethical and holistic care promoting autonomy, dignity, and health of patients from diverse ethnic and social backgrounds.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing, or obtained within five (5) years from the initial date of hire; RN with 15+ years of service may be considered in lieu of education agreement.
  • Advanced degree in Nursing (MSN, PhD, DNP, ARNP) preferred.
  • Current Registered Nurse license in Washington State or Multistate License endorsement (MLS).
  • Current BLS Certification.
  • Three (3) years of recent clinical experience in specialty area.
