Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Home Recovery-Home Aid team. This rewarding role involves providing high-quality nursing care to patients in the comfort of their own homes.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct initial and periodic comprehensive assessments of clients, caregivers, and home environments to determine needs, effectiveness of care provided, and achievement of anticipated outcomes.
  • Accept client admissions as assigned by Agency and provide on-call support as needed.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive nursing care through the utilization of home assessments, nursing diagnoses, and physician-approved care plans.
  • Perform treatment(s) requiring specialized skills ordered by the physician.
  • Observe signs and symptoms and report them to the VP of Clinical Services/Director of Professional Services and/or physician as appropriate.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

  • A current Registered Nurse license in the state of DC.
  • Graduation from an approved school of nursing.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in an acute setting that requires heart, lung, and physical assessments or demonstrated ability/education in the same areas.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and human relations skills.
  • Ability to function with minimal supervision.
  • Capacity to manage multiple projects/changing priorities.
  • Employment of critical thinking skills.
Compensation

This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary of $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
