Sorenson Communications is seeking skilled Sign Language Interpreters to join our team. As a leading provider of Video Relay Service (VRS), we connect people every day through communications access 24/7/365.

**Job Overview**

  • We are expanding our services and need talented interpreters to provide Sign-to-Voice and Voice-to-Sign interpreting services.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Effectively interpret between American Sign Language (ASL) and spoken English.
  • Maintain compliance with national, state, or local licensure and/or certification requirements.
  • Demonstrate full compliance with Sorenson standards and policies, FCC regulations, and the RID Code of Professional Conduct.

**Requirements**

  • Ability to pass our required skills assessment.
  • A high school diploma or GED.
  • An associate's or bachelor's degree (preferred).
  • Interpreter certification.
  • 3 years' experience working as an interpreter (preferred).

**Compensation & Location**

We offer a competitive salary of $50-$75 per hour, depending on experience and location. Our Portland, OR office provides a dynamic work environment with opportunities for growth and development.
