Civil Engineer Transportation Specialist

Keller Associates, a consulting firm providing water, wastewater, civil, transportation, and structural engineering services throughout the West, is seeking a skilled Civil Engineer Transportation Specialist. The ideal candidate will have experience in civil engineering and transportation design, with proficiency in MS Office and MicroStation/OpenRoads Designer or AutoCAD/Civil3D.
Salary InformationThe estimated salary for this position is $85,000 - $115,000 per year, depending on experience. Benefits include employee medical, dental, and vision insurance, short-term and long-term disability insurance, company-paid life insurance, and a 401k match program.
Responsibilities- Participate in all phases of a project, from planning to construction, working closely with engineers, technical specialists, and clients to deliver innovative solutions for various federal, state, and local clients.
- Analyze engineering and survey data, interpret design standards and guidelines, and develop horizontal and vertical alignment, roadway sections, intersection layout, sight distance determination, interchange layout, utility plans, traffic control plans, signing and striping, roadway drainage, including hydraulic reports, and right-of-way plans using local or AASHTO standards.
- Work with multidisciplinary technical teams on various project sizes, provide exceptional client service, and assist with technical memoranda, engineering reports, and planning studies.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam
- 0-4 years of relevant professional experience
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- MicroStation/OpenRoads Designer and/or AutoCAD/Civil3D experience preferred
