Technical Sales Liaison

At 3SI + Wren, we're seeking a highly skilled Sales Engineer to serve as the technical liaison between our sales team and customers. This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise and strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate complex technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
The Sales Engineer will work closely with the sales team to understand customer requirements, develop tailored solutions, and demonstrate the value of our products or services. This is a fully remote position with approximately 40-50% travel for customer meetings, company events, and industry conferences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interact with existing and potential customers to assess and understand technical requirements, challenges, and business goals.
- Provide a deep understanding of our products or services, including their technical specifications, features, and capabilities.
- Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer needs and develop technical solutions that address those needs.
- Work closely with customers to understand their specific requirements and develop customized solutions that meet their needs.
- Assist the sales team in preparing technical proposals, including product specifications, pricing, and implementation timelines.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Communications, Business Administration, Marketing, or a relevant field.
- 3+ years of experience in a technical sales, business development, or relevant role.
- Familiarity with sales processes, strategies, and techniques.
- Ability to deliver engaging and persuasive technical presentations and demonstrations.
