Senior Systems Engineer

The Senior Systems Engineer is responsible for delivering high-quality products by meeting user and business requirements, managing complexity, technical leadership, and stakeholder management.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Overall technical leadership and responsibility for the realization of full systems product release/life cycle management to ensure quality and compliance.
Translation of user and business requirements into product requirements, high-level product design, check, and optimize integration and verification.
System decomposition and allocation of derived requirements down to hardware/software element and part level and related traceability.
Trade-off of product/system design specifications and interfaces, determine feasibility of potential solutions, and leading technical & design reviews.
Ensuring full Product Safety Risk Management in a regulation-compliant manner.
What We're Looking For:
5+ years of relevant experience in professional engineering with demonstrated technical leadership skills (medical device industry strongly preferred).
Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools/methodology strongly preferred.
Ability to manage complexity, drive results, and persuade stakeholders effectively in the interest of patient safety and quality.
Experience with relevant medical device industry standards (ISO 14971, IEC 62304, IEC 62366, FDA GMP, etc.).
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering and/or business discipline or equivalent combination of experience and education.
Ability to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive, and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills related to the systems engineering discipline. Ability to influence and lead work groups is desired.

Philips Transparency Details
The pay range for this position is $135,975 to $233,100. In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission, or long-term incentives may be offered. Employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive Philips Total Rewards benefits program, which includes a generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement, and much more. At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.
