Key Responsibilities

The role encompasses a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:
  • Conducting reconciliations of general ledger accounts, processing journal entries, and managing monthly and annual financial reporting.
  • Investigating and resolving complex accounting issues.
  • Promoting a culture of continuous improvement within the Corporate Accounting team to enhance internal processes and align with industry best practices.
  • Working collaboratively with various teams across HDR to achieve shared goals.
  • Preparing detailed financial analyses and reports for internal stakeholders.
  • Implementing efficiencies through automation in the preparation of journal entries and allocations.
  • Performing additional tasks as required.
Qualifications

Essential Qualifications
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related discipline is required.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and capable of working independently.
  • Experience in managing multiple projects with competing deadlines is essential.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
  • A positive attitude and readiness to tackle challenging assignments are required.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, along with strong analytical capabilities.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Experience in corporate accounting, public accounting, internal auditing, or similar fields is preferred.
  • Possession of a CPA or equivalent certification is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Oracle EBS or Hyperion is a plus but not mandatory.
