Key Responsibilities:


The financial analyst will play a vital role within the executive leadership team, reporting directly to the VP of Finance. This position is essential for steering the company's financial planning initiatives.

Collaboration with the VP of Finance is crucial to establish annual financial goals that align with the organization's growth strategy.

The analyst will also be responsible for structuring the financial team and overseeing various functions to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.


Primary Duties:


This role involves preparing comprehensive financial reports as directed by the VP of Finance, including balance sheets and income statements.

Assisting in compliance audits and monitoring internal controls to ensure adherence to established policies and procedures is also a key responsibility.


This position is critical in supporting the VP of Finance in delivering accurate financial information, which will aid in developing financial strategies, making informed decisions, and identifying cost-saving opportunities across the organization.


The financial analyst will manage traditional responsibilities such as closing the books and ensuring regulatory compliance while also supporting the company's strategic initiatives alongside the VP of Finance.

Assess and evaluate the financial performance of the organization in relation to long-term operational goals, budgets, and forecasts.


Provide insights and recommendations for both short-term and long-term growth strategies.


Evaluate departmental operations and suggest improvements for process automation and efficiency enhancement.

Engage and collaborate with the VP of Finance to execute all projects and manage the daily financial operations of the company.

Participate in key decisions related to strategic initiatives and operational models led by the VP of Finance and the team.


Work closely with the VP of Finance on client pricing strategies to ensure the company's profitability.


Develop process maps and standard operating procedures for departmental functions.



Financial Analysis, Budgeting, and Forecasting:

Review and analyze monthly financial results and provide actionable recommendations.

Develop and maintain both monthly and annual operating budgets.

Prepare and present monthly financial reports, including profit and loss statements, budget forecasts, and weekly cash flow analyses.



Accounting and Operations:

Prepare and communicate financial statements effectively.

Ensure compliance with all financial functions and collaborate with Human Resources to maintain legal compliance.

Review and enforce internal controls, compliance, and financial procedures.

Oversee the month-end closing process, continuously seeking to improve efficiency.

Prepare and review all month-end closing activities, including general ledger accounts and overhead cost allocations.

Enhance and implement financial and accounting systems, processes, tools, and controls.

Act as a primary contact for external auditors and manage the preparation and support for all external audits.

Collaborate with the VP of Finance on projects and financial reports to deepen understanding of the company.



Financial Management:

Manage cash flow planning to ensure availability of funds.

Maintain strong banking relationships and strategic partnerships with vendors and business partners.

Utilize forward-looking models and activity-based analyses to provide financial insights into the organization's plans and budgets.

Oversee accounts payable and receivable while providing guidance on the collection process.

Ensure timely processing of payroll.



Financial Relations and Policies:

Collaborate with the VP of Finance to develop short-term and long-term plans, projections, and budgets.

May represent the company to banks, financial partners, institutions, investors, public auditors, and officials.

Stay updated on audit best practices and relevant laws.
