Overview:

As a key member of our retail management team, the Retail Operations Supervisor plays a vital role in overseeing daily store functions. This position involves collaborating closely with the Store Manager to ensure smooth operations and exceptional service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing daily operations of the retail store.
  • Take charge of store activities in the absence of the Store Manager.
  • Provide guidance, training, and support to retail staff.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Coordinate team meetings and shift changes as needed.
  • Monitor employee performance and ensure adherence to store policies.
  • Oversee the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring they understand store protocols.
  • Handle administrative tasks, including timekeeping and attendance records.
  • Maintain merchandising standards and inventory levels.
  • Ensure compliance with cash handling procedures and daily banking activities.
  • Participate in store meetings and contribute to a positive team environment.
  • Implement safety measures and report any hazards to management.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in retail management.
  • Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
  • Proficient in operating point-of-sale systems.
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
  • Valid driver's license and proof of insurance are required.
  • Ability to pass a background check.

Physical Requirements:

Candidates must be able to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods, and performing various repetitive motions.
