Over the years, PACE has diversified its services to address the evolving needs of the multi-ethnic communities in Los Angeles County.
Program Summary
The Energy and Environmental Services Department at PACE is dedicated to offering essential services such as Home Energy Assistance and Weatherization to low-income residents in the greater Los Angeles area.
Key Responsibilities
- Program Planning:
Formulate the overall program delivery strategy in alignment with the organization’s mission and funding agency goals. Initiate new projects to enhance and expand the program's reach and effectiveness.
- Program Organization:
Identify and implement strategies to optimize program operations and ensure compliance with organizational policies and funding requirements. Establish a robust staffing structure to meet operational needs.
- Program Leadership:
Oversee departmental operations, ensuring efficient service delivery and achievement of program objectives. Provide guidance and support to staff, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Program Control:
Conduct regular evaluations of program effectiveness and financial health. Collaborate with funding agencies to ensure transparency and accountability in financial reporting.
Qualifications
Applicants should possess a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Business, Public Administration, Management, or a related field, with an advanced degree preferred. A proven track record of at least ten years in progressively responsible roles, including five years in executive leadership and administrative management of multi-million-dollar contracts, is essential.
Additional Requirements
Successful candidates must pass employment verification and reference checks. A valid Driver's License and reliable transportation are required. Compliance with COVID vaccination mandates is necessary.
Physical Demands
The role requires the ability to meet the physical demands typical of a leadership position within a nonprofit organization focused on community services.
