Position Overview:

The HVAC Sales Consultant evaluates the needs of homeowners and crafts tailored HVAC comfort solutions for both new and existing residential clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Generate leads through various marketing strategies and customer referrals.
  • Propose solutions aligned with customer goals.
  • Establish rapport with clients by understanding their interests and emotions.
  • Foster long-term relationships to encourage repeat business.
  • Present products and create sales opportunities with retail associates.
  • Achieve a closing ratio of 70% or higher on technician-generated leads.
  • Maintain a closing ratio of 50% or higher on marketed leads.
  • Adhere to average sale price guidelines set by the company.
  • Conduct thorough surveys during every client interaction.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and promptly, including financing documents.
  • Exhibit integrity and a positive attitude in all interactions with team members and clients.
  • Arrive at appointments punctually.
  • Ensure 100% customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare detailed estimates for contracts and proposals.
  • Follow up on all sales leads diligently.
  • Manage multiple sales opportunities, focusing on service agreements and new equipment.
  • Sell, renew, and expand service agreements for both new and existing clients.
  • Comply with all company policies and safety procedures.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • At least 1 year of experience in outside sales.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated success in sales.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong customer relationship skills and a disciplined approach.
  • Effective negotiation and influencing abilities.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in outside sales.
  • Experience in in-home service agreement sales.
  • Familiarity with HVAC systems.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • Completed college coursework.

  • Frequent physical tasks including climbing, bending, and kneeling.

  • Ability to wear necessary personal protective equipment.
  • Long periods of standing, walking, or sitting may be required.
  • Effective communication skills to relay information clearly.
  • Ability to use hands for various tasks and operate equipment.
