About the Role

The YMCA of Metropolitan Dallas is seeking an experienced leader to serve as the Associate Executive Director for the Semones Family YMCA. This key position will provide strategic leadership and direction to the branch, ensuring the delivery of high-quality programs and services to the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and supervision to the branch operations, including membership, child watch, and special events.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the branch and its programs.
  • Lead the annual campaign to raise funds for families in need.
  • Supervise and motivate a large staff and volunteer base.
  • Develop and manage the branch budget, ensuring effective use of resources.
  • Collaborate with regional directors to support program areas, including sports, fitness, and aquatics.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with members, staff, and community stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Proven track record in fiscal management, financial development, and volunteer leadership.
  • Experience in managing day-to-day operations of a Y branch or similar facility.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people.
  • Commitment to excellence and a team player attitude.
