Truck Sales Representative

As a Sales Representative for Martin's Snacks, you will be responsible for delivering products to customers within a designated territory. This role requires strong communication and organizational skills to ensure customer satisfaction and meet sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive a route truck to deliver products to customers.
- Rotate stock on the truck and in stores to ensure freshness and meet sales targets.
- Communicate with store management to acquire additional displays and shelf space.
- Sell the total product line to customers.
- Effectively solicit new accounts and maintain existing relationships.
- Set up clean and neat product displays that meet company standards.
- Load and unload products from the truck.
- Maintain a route book to log directions, stop sequence, and contacts.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the truck and equipment.
- Utilize a hand-held computer for sales transactions.
- Prepare order forms and sales contracts.
Requirements
To perform this role successfully, you must have a high school diploma or equivalent and one to three months of related experience. You must also have a valid driver's license and be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Performance Measurements
Your performance will be measured by your ability to achieve assigned sales targets, maintain a positive attitude, and meet company standards for customer service and product delivery.
