About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Sales and Business Development Professional to join our team at Land Title. This is a unique opportunity for a self-motivated, seasoned sales or business development professional to be part of a high-performing sales team that partners closely with a broader team of professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the commercial real estate market.
  • Lead the coordination of company resources necessary to drive sales to completion, including the retention of future business.
  • Develop relationships with potential referral sources and present the company's resources to them.
  • Transition qualified prospects or existing clients to members of the company's title and closing teams and support them in establishing initial business transactions.
  • Utilize internal and external information sources to gather data and position business opportunities effectively.
  • Develop and collaborate on sales strategies to increase target market sales and manage their execution.
  • Generate additional revenue opportunities by introducing and leveraging other business products and services.
  • Continuously enhance sales skills and performance through the use of techniques introduced through sales training.
  • Maintain up-to-date prospective client information and share it with key business segments within the company.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Proven knowledge of and/or experience in enterprise sales or business development in business-to-business industries, with a focus on commercial real estate markets.
  • Experience in selling and marketing services, with the ability to establish trusted relationships with clients.
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate with multiple decision-makers on complex transactions.
  • Demonstrated track record of consistently achieving aggressive sales objectives.
  • Possessing business development and negotiation skills, with the ability to originate new business, develop referral sources, and convert prospects to long-term clients.
  • Ability to self-start and independently initiate new opportunities.
  • Effective leadership qualities to guide internal colleagues through the new business development cycle and ensure process integrity and timeliness.
  • Ability to assess the financial attractiveness of new leads to ensure profitability.
  • Demonstrated ability to function effectively both independently and as a team-oriented leader in a high-visibility client environment.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Must demonstrate professional and ethical business practices, adherence to company standards, and a commitment to personal and professional development.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills to communicate with colleagues, clients, and vendors.
  • Proven time management skills to manage multiple priorities and deliver timely and accurate work.
  • Must demonstrate strong active listening and follow-up skills.
  • Strong computer skills and the ability to navigate through multiple systems without assistance.
Minimum Requirements
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in enterprise sales and/or business development required.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in commercial real estate markets or related industries and markets preferred.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Solid working knowledge of email, Microsoft Office Suite, Internet, and Google Docs.
  • Certified Title License (can be acquired after start date but before active client engagement).
