We are seeking an experienced Sales and Business Development Professional to join our team at Land Title. Key Responsibilities- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the commercial real estate market.
- Lead the coordination of company resources necessary to drive sales to completion, including the retention of future business.
- Develop relationships with potential referral sources and present the company's resources to them.
- Transition qualified prospects or existing clients to members of the company's title and closing teams and support them in establishing initial business transactions.
- Utilize internal and external information sources to gather data and position business opportunities effectively.
- Develop and collaborate on sales strategies to increase target market sales and manage their execution.
- Generate additional revenue opportunities by introducing and leveraging other business products and services.
- Continuously enhance sales skills and performance through the use of techniques introduced through sales training.
- Maintain up-to-date prospective client information and share it with key business segments within the company.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies and procedures.
- Proven knowledge of and/or experience in enterprise sales or business development in business-to-business industries, with a focus on commercial real estate markets.
- Experience in selling and marketing services, with the ability to establish trusted relationships with clients.
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate with multiple decision-makers on complex transactions.
- Demonstrated track record of consistently achieving aggressive sales objectives.
- Possessing business development and negotiation skills, with the ability to originate new business, develop referral sources, and convert prospects to long-term clients.
- Ability to self-start and independently initiate new opportunities.
- Effective leadership qualities to guide internal colleagues through the new business development cycle and ensure process integrity and timeliness.
- Ability to assess the financial attractiveness of new leads to ensure profitability.
- Demonstrated ability to function effectively both independently and as a team-oriented leader in a high-visibility client environment.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and strong problem-solving skills.
- Must demonstrate professional and ethical business practices, adherence to company standards, and a commitment to personal and professional development.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills to communicate with colleagues, clients, and vendors.
- Proven time management skills to manage multiple priorities and deliver timely and accurate work.
- Must demonstrate strong active listening and follow-up skills.
- Strong computer skills and the ability to navigate through multiple systems without assistance.
- Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in enterprise sales and/or business development required.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in commercial real estate markets or related industries and markets preferred.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
- Solid working knowledge of email, Microsoft Office Suite, Internet, and Google Docs.
- Certified Title License (can be acquired after start date but before active client engagement).
