Job Summary

The University of California, Riverside is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Graduate Admissions Specialist to join our team. Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble, review, and process paper and online applications to graduate business programs
  • Enter data into our web-based applicant database
  • Generate admissions-related letters, documents, and correspondence with candidates
  • Counsel prospective applicants and admitted students on graduate programs, application criteria, and deadlines
  • Proactively coach applicants on admissions processes and criteria, documentation requirements, and onboarding activities
  • Score application essays, conduct student interviews, and assess candidates' backgrounds and future academic/career goals
  • Use the Customer/Client Relationship Management (CRM) System to communicate with prospective students and generate reports
  • Assist with logistics for Admissions special events, such as info sessions, tours, and recruitment events
  • Maintain web-based databases used to manage email campaigns and event invitations
Requirements
  • Current work authorization
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
