Lead Intercultural Development Initiatives

As an Associate Manager, you will provide strategic direction and leadership on the Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI) tool across the enterprise, driving transformational change and creating an agile intercultural strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain awareness of global diversity issues and trends, informing strategic outcomes.
  • Team management to provide guidance and support, ensuring smooth operations and team cohesion.
  • Enterprise management of the IDI account, leading and facilitating Best Buy's Intercultural Development Inventory global initiatives.
  • Establish a feedback loop to capture employee development on intercultural strengths and opportunities, ensuring a continuous improvement approach.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive IDI strategies, initiatives, and action plans that align with Best Buy's values and business goals.
Requirements:
  • 1 year of Intercultural Development Inventory certification and facilitation experience.
  • Subject matter expert and strong knowledge on relevant and industry-standard Diversity and Inclusion best practices, external trends, insights, content, and culture.
  • Proficient in Microsoft suite of products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Outlook.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • IDI Certification as a qualified administrator (QA).
  • 1 year of people leadership.
  • 3 years of experience and expertise in diversity and Inclusion.
  • 2 years of a proven track record of implementing innovative diversity and inclusion initiatives and programs that result in tangible outcomes.
  • 1 year of project management experience leading, coordinating, implementing, and executing projects from start to completion.
