About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Consumer Loan Fulfillment Manager to join our team at Local Government Federal Credit Union. As a key member of our Consumer Loan Operations department, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end loan fulfillment process for consumer and residential real estate loans.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead and manage a team of consumer loan fulfillment specialists, ensuring department objectives are met and staff are trained and equipped to provide exceptional member service.
  2. Oversee the loan fulfillment process from submission to funding, ensuring accurate loan documents and closings.
  3. Identify areas for improvement in the loan fulfillment process and implement changes as necessary.
  4. Establish and maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and prepare regular reporting on team performance metrics.
  5. Perform processing with the team, including personal, auto, and home equity loans.
  6. Assist the AVP of Consumer Loan Operations with the review and testing of new releases and system enhancements.
  7. Maintain existing consumer credit products in the core system and lending operating system.
  8. Comply with and stay up-to-date on all policies, guidelines, and procedures, federal and state laws applicable to consumer loan servicing.
  9. Support policy, guidelines, and procedures related to consumer real estate closings/transactions with key stakeholders.
  10. Participate in consumer and RE loan documents, lien filing, and titling, and vehicle and RE insurance.
  11. Create and/or update loan servicing processes, procedures, policies, and systems as necessary.
  12. Prepare for and assist with coordinating internal/external audits pertaining to consumer credit products.
Requirements
  1. Minimum 7-9 years of consumer loan servicing/loan documentation experience, including 1-3 years of management experience.
  2. Experience with consumer loan and documentation procedures, policies, regulations, and laws, including knowledge of bankruptcy and consumer law.
  3. Demonstrate ability to multi-task, prioritize, and accept change and function in a team environment.
  4. Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs. (file boxes, computer).
  5. Travel required on occasion.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, business, or related field.
  2. Lending experience at a Credit Union/Financial Institution.
  3. Possess strong analytical and computer skills.
  4. Ability to be resourceful and remain flexible.
  5. Technical background and on-going maintenance of loan core system and functional understanding of a loan origination system (LOS).
