Job Title: Behavioral Specialist - Columbus OH

Job Summary:

Soliant is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team in the Greater Columbus Area. As a BCBA, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and supervising individualized treatment plans for children and adults with developmental disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Comprehensive Assessments: Conduct thorough assessments, including functional behavior assessments (FBAs), to develop individualized treatment plans that cater to the unique needs of our clients.
  • Design and Implement Behavior Intervention Plans: Develop and implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) based on evidence-based practices, ensuring that our clients receive the highest quality care.
  • Train and Supervise Team Members: Train and supervise behavior technicians and other team members in the implementation of treatment plans, ensuring that our team is equipped to provide exceptional support to our clients.
  • Collect and Analyze Data: Collect and analyze data to evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and make data-driven decisions that drive positive outcomes for our clients.
  • Collaborate with Families and Caregivers: Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure consistency and generalization of skills across environments, promoting seamless support for our clients.
  • Provide Ongoing Support: Provide ongoing support, guidance, and training to families and caregivers, empowering them to make informed decisions about their loved ones' care.
  • Maintain Accurate Documentation: Maintain accurate and organized documentation of client progress, reports, and treatment plans, ensuring that our records are comprehensive and up-to-date.
  • Stay Current with Industry Developments: Stay current with the latest research and advancements in the field of applied behavior analysis (ABA), ensuring that our team remains at the forefront of best practices.

Requirements:

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Certification: Possess a valid BCBA certification, demonstrating expertise in the field of applied behavior analysis.
  • Master's Degree: Hold a Master's degree in behavior analysis, psychology, special education, or a related field, showcasing a strong foundation in behavioral sciences.
  • Ohio State Licensure: Possess valid Ohio state licensure or be able to obtain licensure, ensuring compliance with state regulations.
  • Strong Knowledge of ABA Principles: Demonstrate a strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and techniques, including functional behavior assessments and behavior intervention plans.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with families, caregivers, and other professionals.
  • Ability to Work Collaboratively: Demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team, promoting a culture of teamwork and mutual support.
  • Strong Organizational Skills: Possess strong organizational and time management skills, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Valid Driver's License: Hold a valid driver's license and possess reliable transportation, enabling timely and efficient travel to client locations.
