Job Summary

Soliant is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst to provide specialized support and interventions for students with autism and non-verbal communication needs in a school setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive functional behavior assessments and develop behavior intervention plans to address student needs.
  • Design and implement individualized behavior programs and interventions based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to promote skill acquisition and behavior management.
  • Provide direct behavior therapy services to students, implementing evidence-based strategies to support their development and well-being.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement effective behavior support plans that meet student needs.
  • Monitor and evaluate student progress, making data-driven decisions to adjust intervention strategies as needed.
  • Attend student IEP meetings as needed, providing input on behavior goals and interventions.
  • Provide guidance and training to staff members on behavior management strategies to ensure a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Maintain accurate records of behavior assessments, intervention plans, progress notes, and other required documentation.
  • Stay up to date with current research and best practices in the fields of autism and neurological disorders to ensure the highest level of care for students.
Requirements
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
  • Experience working with students with autism and non-verbal communication needs.
  • LBSI or School/Clinical Psychologist licensure preferred.
  • Thorough knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and administrators.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
