About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer to join our Broadcast Architecture team at SiriusXM. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for translating product vision into media technology solutions that advance our operational systems into the next generation of IT-centric broadcast systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement audio and metadata solutions that meet the requirements of assigned projects and support operational excellence.
  • Refine systems architecture to meet the needs of our business and contribute to short and long-term strategic planning of broadcast technology.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Engineering, Operations, Product, Program Management, Legal, and Data Science to drive key decisions that impact our broadcast engineering team and systems.
  • Develop and maintain detailed documentation related to solutions architecture responsibilities assigned.
  • Stay up-to-date on media technology standards and product trends.
Requirements
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, information systems, or systems engineering from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience.
  • Masters' level degree in engineering preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in software and hardware systems lifecycles, at least 5 of which should be in a broadcast or media engineering subject matter expert or solutions architect role.
  • Experience working in a 24 X 7, critical operations environment desired.
  • Experience with requirements engineering, systems documentation tools and techniques, and good public speaking and presentation skills.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $103,300 to $147,825, depending on your skills, qualifications, and experience. This role may also be eligible for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives. We are an equal opportunity employer and welcome applications from diverse candidates.
