About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Lead to join our Broadcast IT engineering department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the technical success of our live and taped events, including high-profile productions such as Bleacher Report's live events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead engineer responsible for technical success of WBD live and taped events.
  • On-site Engineer-in-Charge for all high-profile broadcast productions.
  • Oversee and provide guidance to the day-to-day operations of WarnerMedia Studios BIT Engineering.
  • Provide oversight and guidance to staff to ensure proper technical decisions are being made and departmental responsibilities/procedures are followed.
  • Constantly evaluate departmental workflow for process improvement and efficiency gains.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of live event technical operational experience.
  • 2+ years of television maintenance experience.
  • Demonstrates leadership and fiscal responsibilities.
  • Strong understanding of SMPTE 2110 Standards.
  • Proven background in design and implementation of broadcast facility technology and project management.
