Job Description
The HR Generalist role at KPFF Consulting Engineers involves providing expert support in human resources, compliance, and benefits administration. The ideal candidate will have experience in monitoring federal and state regulations, developing comprehensive HR compliance resources, and leading annual compliance activities.
- Develop and implement strategies to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Coordinate annual compliance activities, including KPFF's Affirmative Action Plan, EEO filings, and other required federal and state reports.
- Collaborate with local offices and Talent Acquisition team to maintain job descriptions that comply with federal and/or state requirements.
- Support KPFF's HRIS by testing and implementing new features and leveraging data to inform HR strategy.
- Create customized reports in the Paycom HRIS and PowerBI to support people initiatives.
- Coordinate annual salary and benefits surveys, working closely with local offices.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To excel in this role, you should possess:
- A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
- 5-7 years of experience supporting a variety of HR processes.
- Experience with HRIS platform (Paycom experience is a plus).
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word for data analysis and communication.
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative without close supervision, identify opportunities for process improvement, and implement effective solutions.
- Proven track record of completing projects and tasks with high accuracy and attention to detail, ensuring all aspects are thoroughly addressed and deadlines are consistently met.
- Strong ability to work well with various stakeholders, fostering positive relationships and effective collaboration.
- Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously while maintaining high quality.
- Proactively solve problems, leveraging strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
