Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team in Seattle as an HR Generalist. You'll have independence and autonomy while thriving in a stable environment and collaborating with a supportive team. This role plays a critical part in KPFF's growth by enhancing HR and benefits processes, driving continuous improvement initiatives that directly impact our employee experience and organizational success.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of taking initiative, identifying opportunities for process improvement, and implementing effective solutions. Experience with HRIS platforms and proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word are also highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Compliance and HRIS: Monitor and research federal and state regulations that impact KPFF policies, developing comprehensive HR compliance resources. Lead and coordinate annual compliance activities, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
  • Collaborate with local offices and Talent Acquisition team to maintain job descriptions that comply with federal and/or state requirements.
  • Provide support for KPFF's HRIS, testing and implementing new features and leveraging data to inform HR strategy.
Benefits and Leave Administration
  • Collaborate with the Leaves Specialist to ensure seamless Leaves of Absence program administration, providing expert guidance and support to managers and employees.
  • Respond to benefits inquiries and approve enrollments in Paycom HRIS, ensuring accuracy of employee information.
  • Contribute to annual Open Enrollment and design materials to enhance understanding of KPFF's benefits package.
Collaboration and Professional Development
  • Collaborate with Benefits and Payroll teams regarding compliance and updates to Paycom HRIS.
  • Foster teamwork with other internal General & Administrative (G&A) teams.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development.
Requirements
  • 5 - 7 years of experience supporting HR processes.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
  • Experience with HRIS platform (Paycom experience a plus).
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word for data analysis and communication.
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative and implement effective solutions.
  • Proven track record of completing projects and tasks with high accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong ability to work with various stakeholders and foster positive relationships.
  • Excellent organizational skills and problem-solving abilities.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this role is $80,000 - $85,000 per year, based on the candidate's experience, education, and skills. We offer competitive performance-based bonuses to recognize and reward outstanding contributions.
