Cardiac Sonographer Specialist

As a Cardiac Sonographer at Kaiser Permanente, you will play a critical role in the Cardiology team, performing diagnostic Ultrasound evaluations of patients in an outpatient cardiac care setting.
Key Responsibilities- Perform diagnostic Ultrasound evaluations of patients with minimal supervision, obtaining ultrasonic signals from the heart and great arteries with two-dimensional image and/or Doppler ultrasonic signal documentation.
- Assist cardiologists in various procedures, including Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE).
- Maintain daily patient records and logs, inputting data into a computerized system.
- Perform related scheduling, paperwork, and computer work.
- Minimum two years of healthcare experience.
- Graduate of an accredited school of ultrasound.
- Registered Cardiac Sonographer Certificate within 24 months of hire.
- Basic Life Support certification required at hire.
- Pediatric and echocardiography experience.
