We are seeking a skilled Echocardiographer to join our team at MultiCare Health System. As an Echocardiographer, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality imaging care to our patients.
About the Role:The Echocardiographer will be responsible for obtaining high-quality recordings of ultrasound images of the heart and related structures. You will work closely with our skilled Imaging/Radiology team to ensure the most comprehensive and high-quality imaging care for our patients.
Responsibilities:- Obtain high-quality recordings of ultrasound images of the heart and related structures
- Perform diagnostic radiology to accomplish strategic departmental goals
- Utilize knowledge and skills of diverse types of ultrasound procedures
- Engage clinical interpretive knowledge, independent judgment, initiative, and ingenuity in performing procedures
- Registered or registry eligible with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers with a specialty Registration of Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographers (RDCS)
- Registered with Cardiovascular Credentialing International as Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) may be substituted for RDCS with the expectation of obtaining ARDMS registry within 12 months of hire or transfer
- Previous experience as an Echocardiographer preferred
