Cardiac Rhythm Surveillance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Rhythm Surveillance Specialist to join our team at Virginia Mason Franciscan Health. As a key member of our Central Monitoring Unit, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality patient care by monitoring cardiac rhythms and recognizing potentially dangerous rhythm changes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor patient's cardiac rhythms and oxygen saturation using cardiac monitoring equipment
- Obtain baseline ECG strips on all monitored patients and record and post cardiac strips in accordance with established procedures
- Recognize rhythms with the potential to alter patient physiology and obtain documentary ECG strips
- Report all arrhythmias to the RN responsible for the patient in accordance with established protocols
Requirements:

- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department and with clinical staff
- Successful completion of a Basic EKG test within 90 days of hire
