Job Overview

Alamo1 is a full-service environmental contractor seeking an experienced Human Resources Director to head our HR department. This role will work closely with senior leadership to ensure HR initiatives align with business objectives and help create a positive and productive workplace culture.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement HR strategies that align with company goals and objectives, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local HR regulations, including EEO, ADA, FMLA, and OSHA.
  • Lead talent acquisition efforts, including recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies, utilizing the candidate's experience in leading international teams.
  • Oversee employee relations, conflict resolution, and compensation and benefits administration, ensuring competitive and equitable programs.
  • Manage performance management programs, including employee evaluations, coaching, and development, fostering continuous growth and skills enhancement.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required; Masters preferred.
  • Seven or more years of HR experience required, with current or previous experience in an HR Manager role in a large (300+ employee) organization.
  • PHR/SPHR certification preferred.
  • The ideal candidate will be bi-lingual, fluent in Spanish and English.
  • PAY SCALE: $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.
