Position Responsibilities
  • Review architectural, structural, mechanical, civil, electrical, and landscaping plans for precision, feasibility, alternative solutions, conflicts, and measurements.
  • Confirm building specifications for materials, subcontractors, and equipment needs while identifying potential discrepancies within project documentation.
  • Oversee and organize the construction site, including trailer setup, signage, material organization, vehicle access, and temporary utility arrangements.
  • Establish a systematic approach for managing project plans, communications, correspondence, and subcontractor agreements.
  • Implement safety measures and relevant company initiatives to comply with safety regulations and ensure a secure work environment.
  • Build and maintain positive client relationships, focusing on critical path identification to meet project timelines.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the project, prioritizing client concerns and interests.
  • Monitor labor efficiency and promptly report any budget deviations to management.
  • Calculate and assess project material quantities based on construction documents, communicating any discrepancies from budgeted amounts.
  • Execute the quality assurance program for the project through thorough review, coordination, and implementation.
  • Coordinate project layout and field conditions by reviewing and aligning shop drawings and construction documents across various disciplines.
  • Oversee the completion of project punchlists across all disciplines to fulfill requirements for obtaining occupancy certification.
Candidate Profile
  • Minimum of 8 years of construction experience, ideally in multifamily projects, with a focus on rough and finish carpentry, as well as concrete work.
  • A college degree is a valuable asset.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of construction, including technology, equipment, and methodologies.
  • Familiarity with the local construction market is beneficial.
  • Proven leadership and management skills, with a history of meeting project deadlines.
  • Aptitude for identifying, investigating, and quantifying project challenges, along with evaluating alternative solutions and their implications.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, fostering positive interactions with team members and clients.
  • Proficient in construction management software such as Procore, Timberline, Bluebeam, CMiC, PlanGrid, Textura, and Field ID.
  • Skilled in utilizing internet resources and Microsoft Office 365.
