Job Description

Job Summary:

HORIZON DEVELOP BUILD MANAGE is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of multi-family wood-frame projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning: Develop and implement project plans, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Team Management: Supervise and coordinate construction teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project milestones and deadlines are met.
  • Site Management: Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, ensure safety compliance, and address any issues or concerns.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to provide project updates and resolve any issues.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present project reports, including cost estimates, budgets, and timelines, to senior management and clients.
  • Compliance: Ensure all projects adhere to building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
  • Documentation: Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and permits.
  • Team Development: Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and professional development among team members.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the multi-family construction industry, with an emphasis on multi-building projects ranging in size from $10MM - $60MM.
  • Skills: Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal requirements, excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Travel: Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, valid driver's license, and ability to travel to project sites as needed.
