Job Summary

The University of Arkansas System is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Program Coordinator to join our team. As a Program Coordinator, you will be responsible for all procurement-related activities for the Department of Neurobiology and Developmental Sciences.

You will prepare reports, analyze, monitor, and evaluate purchasing activities, inventory, and maintenance contracts. Additionally, you will provide oversight of department inventory and ensure the proper disposition of university property.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare reports, analyze, monitor, and evaluate purchasing activities, inventory, and maintenance contracts
  • Provide oversight of department inventory and ensure the proper disposition of university property
  • Facilitate office and lab supply purchasing using UAMS systems
  • Manage the receiving of large volumes of supplies to confirm receipt
  • Troubleshoot administrative difficulties in collaboration with the principal investigator, vendors, purchasing department, and Assistant Chair
  • Work closely with the Office of Sponsored Programs Administration Network (OSPAN) to ensure the proper set up of subaward purchase orders
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in health, business, or related field plus three (3) years of project coordination or administrative support experience
  • Associates degree in health, business, or related field plus five (5) years of project coordination or administrative experience
  • High School diploma plus seven (7) years of project coordination or administrative experience
