Senior Technical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Engineer to lead our client's IT program. The successful candidate will oversee all day-to-day operations in development, test, and production environments for our upcoming Army program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the technical delivery of the program
  • Ensure timely, in-scope, and accurate services for broad scope, numerous applications under the full IT services program
  • Update and maintain software and security patches for COTS and in-house software, operating systems, and hardware for on-prem and cloud environments
  • Plan and communicate schedules of work, maintenance, milestones, lifecycle replacement, upgrades, and planned outages

Required Experience and Knowledge:

  • 7+ years' experience in project management, juggling multiple projects of similar scope
  • Background in IT, development, or quality assurance programs
  • Advanced oversight and management of onsite technicians
  • Ability to manage scope to ensure commitments are achieved within agreed-upon time, cost, and quality parameters

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related scientific or technical discipline
  • 10 years of relevant experience
  • IAT II Certification - CCNA-Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP

Experience with:

  • Windows 2008R2 and higher
  • VMWare
  • NetApp experience
  • Citrix Administration and configuration
  • Advanced IIS 7.0/7.5
  • Solar Winds Monitoring
  • DISA Gold, Army Gold Master Administration and configuration
  • CISCO UCS Hardware administration
  • Advanced DNS administration and configuration

Security Clearance:

Active SECRET or higher clearance based on contract requirements
