Role Overview: We are on the lookout for a knowledgeable Support Operations Specialist to join our dynamic Support Operations team. In this role, you will leverage your technical expertise to assist our Global Support team, ensuring exceptional customer experiences. Our Operations team is instrumental in providing the necessary infrastructure, tools, processes, analytics, and training to support our global team and associated departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and manage tickets assigned to you, analyzing requests and determining effective solutions.
  • Investigate bug reports related to the IT tools utilized by the team.
  • Refine requirements documentation to eliminate ambiguity.
  • Collaborate with our Data Analyst to generate and enhance reports for metric requests, while maintaining comprehensive documentation on solutions and information systems.
  • Conduct audits of our information systems and develop technical solutions using various programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, SQL, and Java.
  • Implement solutions in a testing environment, ensuring functionality before deployment to production.

Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational skills and a proactive work ethic.
  • Experience in a fully remote setting with a global team.
  • Proficient in SQL and advanced spreadsheet functionalities.
  • Familiarity with Python or Java, with hands-on experience in both.
  • Ability to validate changes to technical documentation.
  • Experience in an Agile environment, with knowledge of troubleshooting, security, and deployment practices.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with major project management tools.
  • Familiarity with Jira.
  • Experience in backend development languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
  • Hands-on experience with Zendesk.
  • Experience with cloud-based infrastructure.

Working Hours: You will be expected to work during standard local business hours, with flexibility for up to two days a week to accommodate global team meetings.

Team Dynamics: You will collaborate within a small global team of domain specialists, working closely with project and program managers to manage change and drive the future of our business.

Hiring Process: The hiring process includes submitting a cover letter and resume, meeting with our recruitment team, and completing an interview with the hiring manager. If you progress, you will undertake a practical assessment and present your work to the Support Operations team.
