Job Title: Director of Community Outreach

About the Role:
The Archdiocese of Seattle is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate individual to serve as the Director of Community Outreach. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing pastoral care and outreach services to marginalized communities within the archdiocese.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and coordinate various pastoral care ministries, including those in correctional facilities, hospitals, and ports.
• Supervise and support staff members, ensuring they provide high-quality care and services to our clients.
• Collaborate with local and national nonprofit organizations to deliver pastoral care services and advocate for marginalized communities.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance the effectiveness of our outreach efforts.
• Provide direct service in jails, prisons, hospitals, ships, and immigration centers, offering spiritual guidance and support to those in need.
• Serve as an archdiocesan resource and liaison for local, civic, state, regional, and national groups and organizations.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in theology, Religious Studies, or related field required; Master's degree preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in pastoral ministry, with demonstrated leadership skills and ability to work with diverse populations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care and substance abuse dynamics.
• Valid Washington driver's license and ability to travel with the archdiocese.

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
