Job Summary:
Under minimal supervision, provide exceptional customer service to diverse patrons of all ages and perform circulation, programming, readers advisory, administrative, and other duties in all areas of the library.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide outstanding customer service to patrons of all ages
- Perform circulation duties, including checking out and returning materials
- Develop and implement programming for children and young adults
- Provide readers advisory services to patrons
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as data entry and record-keeping
- Collaborate with library staff to achieve departmental goals
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in library science or related field preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
