Position Overview:

Travel Requirement: 70% Travel

The Healthcare Operations Specialist II plays a crucial role in overseeing a network of our integrated multi-specialty medical practices, with a focus on enhancing overall performance metrics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage a selection of independent medical practices
  • Facilitate growth and operational enhancements within the portfolio of practices
  • Develop and execute strategic plans aimed at increasing the overall revenue of the practices
  • Provide clear insights to practices regarding their financial health to foster improvement
  • Monitor and manage key performance indicators related to finance, revenue cycles, productivity, clinical outcomes, and patient satisfaction
  • Redesign practice workflows to optimize patient flow and operational efficiency
  • Guide and mentor practice administrators in the effective management of their operations
  • Support the transition of practices from traditional Fee-For-Service models to innovative risk-based reimbursement frameworks
  • Implement and communicate new initiatives from Privia Health
  • Exhibit strong leadership qualities with a focus on constructive feedback within the practices
  • Employ strategic thinking to evaluate situations and provide scalable solutions
  • Deliver professional presentations on relevant healthcare topics
  • Become proficient in AthenaHealth's Performance Management System and Electronic Health Records
  • Ensure exceptional customer service to practices, addressing issues promptly to maintain satisfaction
  • Guarantee that all operations comply with relevant accreditation, statutory, and regulatory standards
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and support to assigned performance associates

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree is mandatory; a Master's in Healthcare or an MBA is highly desirable
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the healthcare sector, particularly in collaboration with physicians and medical staff
  • Strong financial acumen; ability to interpret balance sheets and financial data
  • Proficient with technology
  • Ability to work independently and autonomously while fostering relationships within Care Centers, actively seeking opportunities for change
  • Experience in project management, adept at handling multiple projects and urgent tasks while ensuring excellent client service
  • Comprehensive understanding of Population Health Management and its implications for risk-based contracts
  • Ability to thoroughly understand Privia Care Team resources and their application to Population Health Management
  • Reliable transportation is essential
  • Adherence to HIPAA regulations is required

  • Highly analytical and intelligent, able to quickly transform uncertainty into knowledge
  • Skilled in building and maintaining effective relationships with providers, management, clients, and staff to secure buy-in for decisions
  • Communicates ideas clearly and effectively, inspiring action in others
  • Maintains composure and maturity in high-pressure situations
  • Exhibits a positive attitude towards the company, work, clients, management, and colleagues
  • Employs a customer-centric approach in resolving conflicts and issues
