Position Overview:

Travel Requirement: 70% Travel

The Healthcare Operations Specialist II plays a crucial role in overseeing a network of our integrated multi-specialty medical practices, ensuring accountability for driving performance outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage a portfolio of independent medical practices
  • Facilitate growth and enhancements within the portfolio of practices
  • Develop and execute strategic action plans aimed at increasing overall revenue for practices
  • Provide clear insights to practices regarding their financial performance to foster improvement
  • Monitor and manage key performance indicators related to finance, revenue cycles, productivity, clinical outcomes, and patient satisfaction
  • Redesign practice workflows to optimize patient flow and operational efficiency
  • Guide and mentor practice administrators in effective practice management
  • Support the transition of practices from traditional Fee-For-Service models to emerging risk-based reimbursement frameworks
  • Implement and communicate new initiatives from Privia Health
  • Exhibit strong leadership with a focus on constructive feedback within the practices
  • Employ strategic thinking to evaluate situations and deliver scalable solutions
  • Present relevant healthcare topics with professionalism
  • Become proficient in AthenaHealth's Performance Management System and EHR
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to practices, ensuring timely resolution of issues
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable accreditation, statutory, and regulatory standards
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to assigned performance associates

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degrees in Healthcare or MBA preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare, particularly with physicians and medical staff
  • Strong financial acumen; ability to interpret balance sheets and financial data
  • Proficient with technology
  • Ability to work independently and autonomously while fostering relationships within Care Centers
  • Experience in project management, balancing multiple projects and urgent tasks while delivering excellent client service
  • Comprehensive understanding of Population Health Management and its relevance to risk-based contracts
  • Ability to effectively utilize Privia Care Team resources in Population Health Management
  • Reliable transportation required
  • Compliance with HIPAA regulations is mandatory

  • Employs a customer-centric approach in resolving conflicts and addressing issues
