Position Overview:

Travel Requirement: 70% Travel

The Healthcare Operations Advisor II plays a pivotal role in overseeing a network of our clinically integrated multi-specialty practices, with a focus on enhancing overall performance outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage a portfolio of independent medical practices
  • Drive enhancements and growth within the portfolio of practices
  • Develop and execute strategic action plans aimed at increasing the overall revenue of physician practices
  • Ensure transparency with practices regarding their financial performance to facilitate necessary changes
  • Monitor and manage key metrics related to finance, revenue cycles, productivity, clinical outcomes, and patient satisfaction
  • Redesign practice workflows to optimize patient flow and operational efficiency
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to practice administrators in managing their operations
  • Support the transition of practices from Fee-For-Service to a future-oriented risk-based reimbursement model
  • Implement and communicate new initiatives from Privia
  • Exhibit effective leadership with a keen eye for constructive feedback within the practices
  • Employ strategic thinking to assess situations and deliver scalable recommendations
  • Serve as a professional presenter on relevant healthcare topics
  • Become proficient in AthenaHealth's Performance Management System and EHR
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to physician practices, ensuring timely resolution of issues
  • Ensure operations comply with relevant accreditation, statutory, and regulatory standards
  • Provide oversight, coaching, and mentoring to assigned performance associates

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required; Healthcare Master's or MBA preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare, particularly with physicians and medical group staff
  • Strong quantitative and financial acumen; ability to interpret balance sheets and financial data
  • Technologically proficient
  • Ability to work independently and proactively engage with Care Center relationships to drive change
  • Experience in project management, handling multiple projects and urgent deliverables while maintaining high client service standards
  • Comprehensive understanding of Population Health Management and its relevance to risk-based contracts
  • Ability to thoroughly understand Privia Care Team resources and their application to Population Health Management
  • Reliable transportation required
  • Compliance with HIPAA regulations is mandatory

  • Skilled in building and maintaining effective relationships with providers, management, clients, and staff to secure buy-in for decisions

  • Maintains composure and maturity in high-pressure situations
  • Possesses a positive attitude towards the company, work, clients, management, and team members
  • Utilizes a customer-focused approach to conflict resolution and problem-solving
