Job Overview

Restaurant Associates
Position: Guest Services Coordinator
Compensation: $22.00/hr.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Manage all reservations and scheduling for the event space.
  • Conduct daily follow-ups to verify meeting arrangements.
  • Coordinate menu selections for upcoming events in collaboration with clients and the food service manager.
  • Maintain records in the database.
  • Facilitate effective communication with operational departments including Front of House, Back of House, and Audio Visual.
  • Inspect all conference rooms prior to client arrival for Polycom/AV requirements.
  • Ensure Audio Visual equipment is configured according to client specifications.
  • Set up rooms according to client preferences by inputting all details provided.
  • Finalize all planning details with clients and relay information to all operational teams.
  • Provide business center services upon request.
  • Generate end-of-day reports.
  • Input guest names into the security system.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in event planning within the hospitality sector.
  • Proactive approach to anticipate and adapt to changes in business needs.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and share insights with the team.
  • Outstanding customer service skills.
  • Ability to maintain a positive and composed demeanor in a high-pressure environment.
