Job Summary:
As a Guest Services Agent at Pier Sixty & The Lighthouse, you will be the face of our esteemed collection, delivering exceptional service and creating lasting impressions for our guests and clients. Your mission will be to wow our visitors with a warm welcome, ensuring every event runs smoothly and efficiently.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide top-notch support for guest and client requests, ensuring their needs are met promptly and professionally.
  • Efficiently handle phone calls, directing them to the appropriate departments with clarity and professionalism.
  • Assist guests with valet parking, shuttle services, and car service needs during events.
  • Consolidate and coordinate pickups for event-related items.
  • Supervise valet staff and coordinate parking arrangements with Chelsea Piers Guest Services Staff.
  • Ensure all parking and transportation safety measures are adhered to for guests and staff.

Requirements:

  • High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior hospitality or events front service experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with the black car, valet, and bus industries is advantageous.
  • At least one year of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with internal and external customers.
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Quick to respond and adept at resolving issues efficiently.
  • Proficiency in English, with excellent diction for clear telephone communication.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products, particularly Word, Excel, and Teams.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
