POSITION SUMMARY:

The Vice President of Property Management is tasked with overseeing all aspects of leasing, construction, facilities management, and real estate dealings. This role demands exceptional leadership, strategic foresight, and adept project management capabilities, alongside a comprehensive grasp of real estate fundamentals and facility operations.

WORK SCHEDULE:

Standard hours are Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE:

A Bachelor's Degree in Business Management from an accredited institution is mandatory. Real Estate Certification and/or a Master's Degree is highly desirable. Candidates should possess a minimum of 10 years of experience in real estate transactions and portfolio oversight, along with at least 5 years in facilities management. A minimum of 3-5 years of project management experience is also required. Experience in dealership and/or retail sectors is preferred.

CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES:

A valid driver's license and a driving record that complies with company insurance standards are required.

TRAVEL EXPECTATIONS:

Travel may be necessary up to 50%, including both local and overnight trips. Regular visits to various locations will be expected, with occasional overnight stays based on operational needs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in planning for real estate acquisitions, including drafting purchase agreements, conducting condition assessments, and performing environmental studies.
  • Collaborate with architects and corporate teams to assess physical space requirements and overall facility goals.
  • Guide the team in navigating zoning laws and municipal approvals, ensuring clarity on project intentions and operational practices.
  • Implement corporate design standards while accommodating individual store specifications.
  • Facilitate construction meetings and manage project timelines among design, construction, and store management teams.
  • Oversee the procurement of vendor supplies, including furniture, service equipment, signage, and security systems.
  • Maintain communication with original equipment manufacturer partners regarding location approvals, design timelines, and reimbursements for facility enhancements.
  • Provide updates on project costs and construction progress to corporate leadership and management committees.
  • Coordinate routine and emergency maintenance, select and manage contractors, and lead property improvement initiatives.
  • Promote adherence to health and safety policies to foster a culture of workplace safety.
