The Regional Vice President (RVP) is a senior field operating leader responsible for overseeing employee and talent management, executive-level client relationships, clinical quality, and regional P&L management for Wellpath's state and federal correctional healthcare operations.
Key Responsibilities- Mentor, coach, and support direct reports while identifying training needs, and evaluating and developing opportunities for staff, ensuring a cohesive and supportive work environment.
- Monitor clinical and operating metrics, ensure compliance with contracts, policies, procedures, and regulations, and manage staffing, licensure, and credentialing requirements.
- Develop, monitor, and report on clinical quality metrics and key performance indicators, evaluate operational efficiency, and implement improvements to optimize service delivery and cost-effectiveness.
- Analyze financial statements, create and maintain budgets and forecasts, and ensure key operating metrics, including labor, supply, and pharmacy costs, are met to achieve financial objectives.
- Collaborate with corporate support functions and clients to maintain contract obligations, support recruitment efforts, participate in business development activities, and serve as a backup to regional managers in key meetings.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Health Administration, Business Administration, or health-related field. Master's Degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible leadership experience in delivery and administration of multi-site management. Experience in correctional medical, dental, and mental health care preferred.
- Licenses/Certifications: NCCHC-CCHP certification required or in process.
