Role Overview:
CFA Institute is seeking a proactive Senior Financial Analyst to become an integral part of our Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis team.

In this essential role, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing our financial forecasting models.

You will work closely with key stakeholders to update our models and conduct scenario analyses that provide critical insights to our leadership.

Your contributions will also include preparing quarterly analyses and forecasts for our board of directors, collaborating directly with the CFO to shape the analyses and communication.


Key Responsibilities:


- Update and refine CFA Institute's long-term, three-statement financial model, delivering insights into variances and key drivers of our primary financial metrics, including EBITDA, Net Income, and Cash Flow.

- Conduct scenario analyses to inform strategic decisions through a financial perspective.

- Develop and design monthly reports that assess the organization's financial health.

- Collaborate with stakeholders on ad-hoc financial analyses.

- Manage entity-level financial models.

- Create models necessary for regulatory compliance or new licensing.

- Contribute to the implementation and utilization of forecasting tools.

- Engage with cross-functional stakeholders to understand financial results, identify variances, and enhance forecasting accuracy.

- Play a pivotal role in crafting quarterly financial presentations for the board of directors and investors in direct partnership with the CFO.

- Drive the evolution of CFA Institute's financial capabilities by participating in ERP and EPM implementation processes and actively seeking to enhance financial processes across the organization.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in financial modeling, preferably within investment banking, asset management, or management consulting.

- Strong understanding of GAAP accounting standards and the interplay of financial statements, with the ability to construct dynamic three-statement models.

- Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel, utilizing these tools to derive meaningful financial insights.

- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, innovative environment characterized by rapid change.

- Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver financial insights and enhance understanding of financial outcomes and forecasts.

- High emotional intelligence, empathy, and self-awareness, with a focus on teamwork and client satisfaction.

- Bachelor's degree in finance and/or accounting, providing a solid academic foundation.

- Familiarity with tools such as Slack and Apple MacOS, with a passion for the potential of blockchain technology.

This position offers eligibility for day-one PERM sponsorship for qualified candidates.

Starting pay is influenced by factors such as relevant experience, skill set, qualifications, and organizational needs.


Base Pay Range:
$102,500-$137,500

Annual Bonus Target: 12.5%

We also provide 10 days of paid sick leave per year and 11 paid holidays per year.
