Senior Financial Planning Analyst

Position Overview:
The Senior Financial Analyst position encompasses a comprehensive array of planning, forecasting, and analytical tasks. This includes the development of financial models that integrate insights from validated assumptions while ensuring the integrity of data and information.
This is a hybrid role with a requirement for onsite presence during specific weekdays.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Formulates the annual divisional plans by synthesizing guidance based on validated assumptions; aids in the creation of presentations and deliverables for senior leadership.
2. Constructs forecasting models that leverage key performance indicators, trend analysis, and external economic factors, while monitoring the precision and reliability of existing models.
3. Evaluates monthly and quarterly operational results against budgetary targets and previous year’s performance to identify variances across divisions.
4. Enhances accuracy by aligning with key drivers and pinpointing root causes of variances.
5. Develops and assists in the preparation of Profit & Loss statements for new initiatives, account performance, and pricing strategies.
6. Contributes to the creation of analytical tools and models aimed at optimizing revenue and expense management as well as streamlining processes.
7. Generates and disseminates regular and ad hoc management reports.
8. Aids in the preparation of periodic reports and presentations for senior management.
9. Maintains and updates P&L templates as necessary.
10. Conducts selective audits of approved requests to ensure accuracy.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is mandatory.
- 2-3 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis or Accounting is required.
- Exceptional quantitative skills, particularly advanced proficiency in MS Excel, are essential.
- Proven experience in utilizing data analytics to foster company growth and enhance revenue or other critical business outcomes is necessary.
- Familiarity with manufacturing finance and accounting is preferred.
- Experience with Oracle JD Edwards and ReportsNow is advantageous.
