Position Overview

This role is pivotal in supporting various levels of Internal Operations and Enterprise Portfolio Management through the development and oversight of comprehensive budgets and projects. The Analyst will conduct thorough analyses and research to identify trends and recommend necessary interventions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather and evaluate essential enterprise performance metrics, presenting findings at both detailed and summary levels.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to management across the organization.
  • Identify potential risks and issues, offering recommendations for process enhancements within Internal Operations and the Enterprise Portfolio.
  • Review and analyze financial reports generated by the team, including variance and staffing analyses, as well as budgetary reporting.
  • Advise management on budget forecasts and ensure accuracy in budget reviews.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, or Finance, accompanied by five years of relevant experience in corporate financial reporting and budgeting, or eight years of experience in similar roles.
  • Familiarity with tools and applications utilized in Internal Operations or Project Accounting, such as Clarity or Oracle.
  • Experience in preparing project portfolio budgets.
  • Strong customer service skills, including managing expectations and vendor relationships.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in presentation, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in corporate budgeting, accounting, and financial analysis.
  • Proven track record as a primary contact for the Budget Department, providing guidance and training in budgeting and financial planning.
  • Experience in reviewing budget requests and conducting analyses to support funding decisions.
  • Ability to create complex financial reports and provide insights to aid senior leadership in decision-making.
  • Adaptability and capability to manage change effectively.
  • Experience in resource management.
