Job Overview

Veracept is in search of a skilled and detail-oriented Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to enhance our expanding firm. In this position, you will deliver a range of accounting services to our clientele, which includes generating monthly financial reports, reconciling banking transactions, and preparing tax documentation. Precision, effectiveness, and meticulousness are crucial for delivering exceptional service to our clients. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of three years of professional accounting experience across both public and private sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct tax consultations with clients
  • Request, gather, and organize all essential documentation
  • Review corporate and individual income tax filings
  • Advise business proprietors and individuals on tax regulations
  • Manage state and federal payroll tax obligations
  • Reconcile bank and other financial statements
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations
  • Maintain ongoing communication with the IRS, state agencies, and clients
  • Keep client files highly organized and up-to-date
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license in good standing
  • Quickbooks ProAdvisor certification is preferred
  • A minimum of 3 years of CPA experience in a corporate environment
  • Experience in revenue cycle management is a plus
  • Familiarity with corporate and personal tax matters is advantageous
  • Exceptional computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and database management
  • Knowledge of Quickbooks and financial reporting
  • Excellent communication abilities
  • Ability to perform well in a deadline-oriented atmosphere
